The youthful memories of a friend who grew up on an island in the Azores (1000 km off the Portuguese coast) inspired me to write this composition.
Vivid childhood recollections of a dear friend inspired me to this composition. She grew up on one of the islands called the Azores, situated in the atlantic ocean 700 miles away from the portuguese coast.
